Scope:
The new approximately 9,700 square foot, one-story addition ties into the existing Hospice facility strategically to provide immediate and easy access to the existing central lobby, nurses station and administrative facility. Reflecting a peaceful, countryside farm theme intended by the existing facility and master plan, the new addition’s exterior incorporates a similar vinyl-sided home style providing for a seamless transition between old and new.
The new wing addition includes sixteen private patient rooms, each with a complete bathroom, multiple closets and kitchen unit. Other features include a new family room, lounge, snack area, staff break/locker room, staff toilet/shower room, separate clean and soiled linen rooms, mechanical/electrical room and multiple storage and support areas. New site improvements include a new 51-space parking lot, sidewalks, access road and storm management system.
