Scope:
In conjunction with Anderson Regional Airport (AND) taxiway expansion, Design South Professionals was commissioned to expand the existing hangar amenities. With a recently completed larger runway, Anderson Regional Airport is able to serve larger planes which will assist in the economic development of the region.
The scope of work included the expansion of the existing T-Hangars (T-3, T-4 & T-5) to include an additional 17 T-Hangar spaces (8,568 SF; 8,468 SF; 8,760 SF, respectively); Two (2) new 70’x70’ Corporate Hangars (FS-12 & FS-13) with office and restroom facilities and bi-fold hangar door; and One (1) new 75’x140’ Corporate Hangar (FS-7) with 1,400 SF corporate office and sliding hangar doors.
