SCOPE:

This report planned for extending the aeration/ activated sludge process. Upon design, engineering services will include planning, preliminary design, permitting, design, and construction administration for a project to upgrade the facility for phosphorus removal and to expand the rated capacity from 2.0 MGD to 3.0 MGD. The following major improvements will be involved during this project.

• Construction of a new headworks structure to include screening and grit removal systems.
• Upgrade of existing influent pump station.
• Construction of a new 4.5 million gallon equalization basin.
• Construction of a new selector basin.
• Construction of a new aeration basin
• Construction of a new secondary clarifier
• Construction of a new flow splitter box with rapid mixer
• Improvements to the Sodium Aluminate chemical feed system.
• Upgrade an existing clarifier to a flocculator clarifier.
• Construction of new tertiary filters.
• Construction of a new UV chamber.
• Construction of a new post aeration chamber.
