This project included planning, preliminary design, surveying, final design, right-of-way acquisition assistance, bidding assistance, and construction services for approximately 7,800 feet of 36-inch and 30-inch and 16,000 feet of 24-inch transmission main improvements. Over 4,000 of the 24-inch main was installed under North Main Street (Highway 14) in downtown Greer.
These improvements to Greer’s transmission system allowed the Greer Water Treatment Plant to pump 24 MGD into the system once the plant improvements were completed. In addition, Design South assisted in the acquisition of a state revolving fund loan. |
