Scope:
This project included the initial preparation of an engineering report and successful permitting with DHEC. Other engineering services included planning, preliminary design, final design, bidding and construction administration to upgrade the facility. The following major improvements were involved during this project:
• Construction of a new headworks structure to include screening and grit removal systems.
• Connection to the existing influent pump station.
• Construction of a new 4.5 million gallon equalization basin.
• Construction of a new rapid mix chamber.
• Connection to existing flow splitter box.
• Construction of new tertiary filters.
• Construction of a new UV chamber.
