Scope:

This project addressed the need to provide redundancy and additional capacity for the existing 30-inch line that transfers water from the water treatment plant to remote clearwells. Phase 1 of the project consisted of approximately 16,400 feet of 36-inch ductile iron water transmission main including two creek crossings and related appurtenances.
Scope:
• Perform transient surge analysis under various pumping scenarios.
• Select the final route, conduct public meetings, and assist with private right-of-way acquisition.
• Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and all permitting applications.
• Provide bidding assistance, construction administration, and construction observation.
